Whats Up with Worms 2021-Present

Since 2021 we have been worm farming. Originally as a way to create a cheap biofertiliser with house waste from our endless dinner events, the worms have now survived  their second full winter outdoors and are up to around 140 litres of compost. Originally situated at the Hafengarten community farm, they were relocated to an urban alleway for a year and this spring they have been moved to the Eleonore site where they will be used to try and create arable soil along the east-side river bank, along with being incorporated into our major soil study as a comparative medium with the aquaponics system waste and the bioreactor system that uses fungi, bacterial medium and wood waste.
