The prototype is collecting data… During our second morning meeting we decided the nature of the web hosting, and from that how we’re going to handle the data. We are doing analog testing and manually entering the data, then using a .csv file imported to the database. We’re combining a manual and digital database due to time constraints. In the future we’ll build an app that does machine learning with colour tests, but for now we will diagram it and do the testing manually. We’re happy to say the sensory data is already connected online!
The atmospheric data was as we would expect it to be (kind of boring), but the good news is that after a few days in existence, both the site-specific marine and the domestic-oriented fresh water ecosystems are in good and healthy conditions – albeit without a lot of bacteria present in our freshly set up water tank.
