We’ve been caught in a rain storm! While the rain poured down Julian and Jan gave a helping hand, going to check on the sheep and make sure their shelters were ok. It’s inspiring to see the large scale of localised agriculture that exists in Austria, and how all the farms are still family-run. There is strong legislation in place to protect the way farms are managed, covering everything from where you’re allowed to walk between paddocks to crop rotations. The systems here are so sustainable, it’s a strong influence on the way we imagine our project.
